groundhog day
i guess we have been having a mild winter.. i got to wear my chaco (tacos) a few days last week and swept the back deck a few times just b/c i was so nice outside.. i even had to use my sunroof once or twice.. plus there are these cherry trees at work that have been half blooming all winter...
apparently puxatawny phil saw his shadow today, meaning 6 more weeks of winter.. but general lee (at the yellow river game ranch) didnt, meaning there isnt 6 more weeks.. so, i am hoping it will be spring soon, but i just wont feel right if there isn't some ice before the flowers bloom.. mainly b/c we changed our vacation policy so we dont have to use our vacation for shitty things we cant help.. plus its fun to be stuck inside for a day.. well, unless you lose your power i guess..
i've been having a super-fun week, mainly b/c i've been celebrating my bday since friday.. somehow having a tuesday bday means you can start celebrating on friday.. eh, i guess thats the same way thursday is practically the weekend! friday i went out w/ friends in the highlands.. saturday went to dinner and hung out at home.. sunday went to athens.. monday went to lunch w/ work friends.. monday nite lasagna w/ the fam.. tuesday an awesome shopping spree.. tues nite dinner w/ mom.. wed a suprise "party" in the breakroom and a giant cookie cake.. then last nite i went to piebar..
current tv obsessions: project runway, scrubs, the office, and of COURSE martha!
current music obsessions: anything NEW.. especially reggae (More Fiyah show on 88.5), classic rock i havent heard (Deep Tracks on XM), creative hip hop (most shows on 88.5)
current alcohol obsessions: any sweetwater (esp 420, Blue, IPA), purple haze, hoegarden, tequila (esp margaritas)
