#1: The contrast in this icon is amazing. The way the figures are almost silhouetted, yet there are still some deep orange remnants that contrast against the yellow? Perfection. I also love the crop. #2: This is such an interesting icon that I couldn't not add it. The cropping is just, so interesting, and the texture use, or the image itself - whatever is going on, it catches the eye immediately. The contrast is perfection as well, as I love icons that come in shades, and the shades in this icons are just, A+. #3: The levels in this icon are just wonderfully captivating. I love that the complexity of the composition is offset by the simplicity of the colors. It really works together to create a visually interesting icon. #4: What a crop. What a use of texture. Its just, wow. I love how everything combines to give this icon such a feeling of mystery. And the rich purple/violet/pink color vs. the black background just sets it all perfectly. #5: This is an amazing use of negative space, and again, it's got that deep contrast that you seem to work really well. I love the shades of yellow/orange in this icon. It is just so lovely.
