WHY
1. I realized I suck at timing and the final activity would go up with about a week of April left. But then the meme promoted above was posted, and I thought that participants of icon appreciation month might like a chance to participate there.
2. I see the meme as an amazing opportunity for icon makers to have their icons judged without the pretense of who they are. It's all about the quality of your iconing, rather than who may be posting the icons. Remember: give to others what you would expect to receive. Asking for concrit is just as much about giving it, so give generously!
