No matter how many text tuts I read, I still suck at text. And I've read all of those. That is sad.

Text is a pain in the ass for me. It's why I rarely (if ever) use it. The only reason I've gotten marginally better is thanks to the preview pics I make at rawr-caps, so maybe the trick is in larger graphics first, icons next? In any case, it does not matter. As a texture queen, your icons are stunning enough already!

The thing is that I've been working on text ever since I began making icons. You'd think after 3 years, I'd get better at it, but for some reason, I just never know how to mix and match fonts and colors well, so my text tends to be flat and unimaginative.

I really should try making bigger graphics. I just never know how to fill so much space! 100x100 is so much easier for me!

It's really daunting to me. I only ever make wallpapers or headers for land comm challenges, and usually, they're very plain. All that space makes me feel scared instead of free to experiment!

Oh my, I was going to say the exact same thing. I know all these tutorials and even though I keep thinking "I can do this!", I don't. Really.
