Katy wanted a journal, so I started her one. Does anyone know if they close down journals of kids? I am going to be right next to her while she journals and it will all be friends only. Anyone know?

I think you have to be 13 and over. I agree with the first comment. I personally don't plan to let my kids use LJ until they are older, there is so much crap on here I wouldn't want them to see. Obviously you plan to watch her while she's on here, which is responsible and really great...but for how long? Til she's 16? I guess my kids will discover it one day but for me the later the better. => Besides, they might read mine! =0

The only thing she will be able to do with her account is journal. Not the networking/friend making aspects of it.

She tries to read over my shoulder all the time. I thought this might stop it.
