My Long Weekend.
So, I had a pretty awesome weekend even though Devin was away. Saturday I worked until three, but then I met Caitlin in Sackville and we took the bus to Mic Mac Mall. My Grandmother gave me a bunch of money last week, so I bought an outfit from Old Navy, and some Camo capris from Garage. Then Shelley and Dan met us at the mall and we all went out to Your Father's Mustache for supper. I used Gill's ID and got a drink. I was pretty scared cause that was the first time I used it, but it worked ok. And the drink was so tasty. I could only afford one though lol.
Sunday was also super fun. Took the bus all the way to Dartmouth to see Willem. We played some frisbee, and I pulled a muscle in my arm, it was so sore today. I think I have improved my frisbee skills alot. Willem also has this ridiculus book, its called something like "the book of horrible questions". And basically thats what it is. One was "would you rather beat your head against a brick wall until you are unconcious to get a free rolls royce, or just receive a free used hyundai" or for $10 000 would you bite the head off a bat. Just dumb things like that. Some were really hard to answer, but I cant really remember any. We spent about two hours just answering those questions. Willem also tried to teach me how to play chess, but I just wasn't interested. Maybe some other day.
I have mixed feelings about today, it started off really bad. I went to work thinking that I opened with Estella (the nice manager), only to arrive at work to discover Kelly was opening (the crazy assistant manager). She drives me insane with all her questions. She is so nosy. She gives me ridiculus chores like rotating the napkins so that the old ones will be used first. I am sorry, but napkins don't just go bad, and they are all the same and do not need to be rotated. I am starting to regret not getting a better summer job. At least I am still getting the hours I want.
At work today, ants kept getting in through the drive thru window, and Tameeka was collecting them in a cup and starting an ant farm. I wonder what kelly would do if she found it. She would throw a fit. I wish I could have seen that.
Here is where my day gets better. Devin picked me up from work and we went to his place and just chilled. He had a UFC DVD and so we watched a couple fights. Then we went to Subway for supper, I got a cold cut. It was delish. Then we went back to Devin's and started to watch a movie, but then fell asleep. It was such a good nap. I also had another nap when I got home.
Willem lent me a book called "Wizzards First Rule." I don't usually read books that have a dragon on the cover, but he ensured me that the book was amazing, and the seris was addictive. I am currently reading "The Wolf and the Crown" which is about King Arthur. I am almost dont that, and then I will move on to Willem's book.
I almost forgot to mention that I now have two little Kittens. My mom found them on the side of the road, and took them home. She says we cant keep them because of the Dog, but my sister and I are trying to talk her into it. One is orange and his name is peanut, and the other is black and white and his name is ping-pong. I love them.
