It was drizzling the next morning so it was kinda chilly. Furthermore, I started to feel sick because I couldn’t stand the cold any longer. Or maybe I was home sick…..
Weak girl iz me.
Where: London, United Kingdom When: 24th November 2015
Market day! Not those yang beli-ikan-bawang-udang kind but the food-flea-souvenirs-food-cheap-clothes kinda market. We knew beforehand that Portobello Market wont’t be fully open on a Tuesday but our itinerary were already full on our days; we decided to just go ahead.
While there are a few shops open for business, we think the empty roads (with red markings) are where more stalls would usually be open on other days. Had a drink at a nearby café before we proceed to Camden Market.
Camden Market reminds me so much of Bugis Street but they had more food stations than we do.
We then headed to Covent Garden Market. So sad we didn’t get to watch a theatre play while we were there due to budget constraint. Told myself if I ever go back to London, I’mma make sure I catch one hehe.
The only decent photo I have of myself with the red telephone booth.
Wish I could have use the beanie to cover my whole face instead of just my head.
YES, I am THAT colddddd, my friends.
Dinner time is always my favourite part of the day! We had Stax which is located at Kingly Court. I honestly can’t remember if we took London tube or we just walk from Covent Garden but I think it’s the latter.
Nadh and I shared the yummy Stax Cheeseburger (beef is always a good idea) while Iqah had Chicken and Waffles. I’m a boring eater so I felt that the combination of chicken and waffles tasted weird but Iqah seems to like it.
Happy faces after our meals!
Walk for abit more to see the pretty Christmas lights before we head home.
So first three days done, left with three more days of London entries before I wrapped up on my Europe trip!
