When I was just a little girl I had a notebook and in this notebook...
You know I had thought that the first fanfiction I had ever written was due South. Turns out that's not the case. For whislt going through some of my old notebooks I discovered that at age 7 I wrote Winnie the Pooh fanfiction. And before you ask no - it was not slash.
For some context I was a huge Winnie the Pooh fan we had all the books passed down form my mother and we watched the Disney bastardisations (at least in those days they were based on the source material) ad nauseum. Also one of the few tapes which would keep myself and my brother quiet int he car was a recoeding of Alan Bennett (yes Alan Bennett who wrote the History Boys, Talking Heads and the Madness of King George) reading the Winnie the Pooh stories complete with voices (if you've neevr heard him do Piglet's voice you've missed something there).
Anyway apparently I loved them so much I wrote 3 stories (mercifully short but then I was 7). Now I present them to you all.
I would like to say no copyright infringement is meant. I was 7 for goodness sake. I have left all the crappy gramma and spelling in.
Number 1:
christmas [why this is the title I have no idea my 7 year old self was useless with titles too it seems]
long long aog [ago] about 7 days aog [ago] pooh was. doing the wasing [washing] with piglet then they had tea pooh had some hony [honey] and piglett had some nuts then piglet went home and pooh went to bed
Number 2:
long long ago about 7 days ago pooh was Helping ribbit [rabbit] with. the . gradening [gardening] piglett. was Helping them too then they had tea they had Jam Hony and nuts and beard [bread] and cake then pooh and piglet went home to bed the end
Number 3:
long long ago about 7 days ago pooh was doinng his spring cleaning piglet was helping him when they had finsed [finished] they had Jam and bread for tea then piglet went home and went to bed. pooh tidy up and then he went to bed then he went to bed then he truned [turned] off his light and fell asleep and dermt [dreamt] of lots of thing like waht had he done and what he wazs going to do in the new day to come
But that's not all! I scanned them in too!
So there we are a glimpse into the mind of 7 year old Aingeal.
