more O's stuff

My faith in Irish Dancing competitions has been renewed. The girl who won my competition and was allowed to dance out of order (normally you are DQ'd for missing your rotation)was given an exception because she was sharing a dress with a girl in another competition. Despite having 40 dancers in each group, and choosing at random what number to start with, and having each competition run independantly, they came up in thier second rounds at almost exactly the same time. It was really the only acceptable reason I could think of, and I'm glad thats why, instead of because they didnt want to DQ the girl with first place across the board in the first round. She ended up with only 2 second places out of a total of 15 rankings (3 dances x 5 judges).

You can see the winners in the older age groups on this video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4320131539903976223&q=parade+of+champions+2007&total=140&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=2
The girl who won my group is the last dancer, in the pink dress... and thats the dance she doesnt do in competition, and probably hasnt for the past 3 years or so.

The girl in the orange dress is the current world champ.

Here are the younger champs.
