When posting about my puppy, I realized I hadn't updated the kitty situation at all. Roo had bilateral sacro-iliac luxations, meaning that his hips came loose from his spine, and a sympheseal fracture (broken right at the pubic bone), so surgery it was (they were in there for around 5 hours) to put screws in both sides, so his sacro-illiac luxations are stable. He still has the pelvic sympheseal fracture, but having the other two fractures fixed stabilises that, too; like having only one crack in a rigid ring. He's starting to walk, wobbly-like, and *complain*, which is normal for him. And do his best to get into trouble. He gave me a near-heart attack when he got out of his crate one afternoon and *dissapeared*. I found him downstairs, under the kitchen table, and I don't even want to think about how he got there. Must be feeling better.
(this isn't a current picture. Now his back half is shaved, except for furry 'boots' and his tail. He looks like he lost his pants!)
