it was on this big white puffy flowerhead, made of lots of tiny flowers. There's abotannical name for that but I can't remember it this early in the morning.

That's okay -- "big puffy flowerhead" means more to me than the botannical name probably would anyway. (grin) And don't worry about it. There's a *lot* I can't remember that early in the morning.

Aw. They don't bite, though. All they'd do is run away. Crab spiders are really good at hiding in flowers; some even change color to match.
