Pic is from DJ…. I forget
I must get a laptop, it’s kinda the only way I will have a hope of keeping up with folk. I am dreadful at keeping in touch, probably have @ 1500 emails in my inbox. I haven’t looked today and it’s 2127 UTC. Am scared to look lol.
I have been asked for my personal email address by various folk for different proposals. But I find myspace email handy. It’s neat. No newsletters bar one has it so it tends to receive a handful of email daily at most. I tend to turn most down, no time. So folks if you send emails it’s probably best via myspace .
A cool youtuber asked about where to stay in Dublin and I thought I’d share my info.
Hotels in Dublin = there is an abundance of all sorts of hotels, private apartments, hostels. There is in fact too many (it has been alleged, but not by me), which is good because the prices are very good compared to some European cities.
If you want to stay city centre where everything is within walking distance then listed below are a few.
- Jury Inn Christchurch here >>> = is beside Dublin Castle/ Temple Bar + you can walk to the O2. It’s a bit anonymous + basic, but handy, {no gym or pool but if they over book you they put you in the Westbury which is nice}.
- Juys Inn Custom House is in the IFSC where the O2 is. No gym/or pool. = here >>>.
- The Clarion is in the IFSC near the O2 also + has a gym + swimming pool = here >>>.
- If you want more expensive = The Shelbourne Hotel = here >>>. {No gym/pool but beauty treatments area. Has the fab Horse Shoe Bar. If you don’t stay go for one drink in this bar. A treat.}
- An expensive boutique hotel = The Dylan = here >>>. I live in Dublin but want to stay here some weekend.
- If you want old fashioned small hotel try Bushwells = here >>>. Cool, old, a great bar/ lounge /food area.
- If you want a Hostel = Isaac’s Hostel = here >>>. Nice atmosphere (musicians stay free, check availability first). The first hostel I stayed in. Fab!
- Kinlay Hostel in old Temple Bar across from Jury’s Inn Christchurch = here >>>.
- If you want gay accommodation there is Frankie’s Guesthouse, Panti’s apartments (ie Panti’s Pads), and the Inn on the Liffey.
