Ruhr Metropolis (Northern Germany) is one of three European Capitals of Culture in 2010. It is in fact not a city, yet. More a region of 43 towns. Including Essen and Duisburg.
In 2010 Duisburg will hold the LoveParade. On the 24th July, website now on-line. The LoveParade is the worlds largest dance party. Westbam (DJ) is closely associated with the LoveParade. He’s done a few of the LoveParade theme tunes, including below.
Ruhr Metropolis has some interesting theatre going on this year including a play depicting the story of the founding of Europe ( Europa) in Greek Mythology.
