A film I saw for the first time in 2012, Nigel Finch‘s Stonewall! Guillermo Díaz like you’ve I never saw before, the super handsome Frederick Weller and Irishman Brendan Corbalis. ‘Tis a movie some folk would probably find hard to watch, it’s subject matter. It’s told in a very auteur/musical/ documentary way, the film/ style used is quiet basic for 1995, a bit dated now but it’s an interesting piece, the poor quality of the actual film kinda adds to it.  (The quality of film used can be contrasted with that in Gainsbourg‘s suberb  Je T’aime Moi Non Plus [1976]. Which still looks like it was made only recently) Of it’s age really… Kudos to the BBC for part funding the Stonewall film.
