Jurassic Park - I've always loved dinosaurs, so this was a dream come true.
Titanic - What can I say, I'm a sap. The sheer pointless loss of human life here made me bawl through the entire movie.
Labyrinth - David Bowie in tight pants, muppets galore, and a lot of really great music. I still love to watch it.
The Princess Bride - Cary Elwes in all black. Pirates, deadly peril, true love, and incredibly sexy swordsmen. What's not to love?
Donnie Darko - This movie is so messed up, I don't know where to begin. But it's just twisted enough to really capture my imagination and make me start thinking about time travel and all that kind of stuff. I love it. Plus Frank freaks me out.

1) Total number of books owned: This is not an easy question to answer. I would say, counting everything I still have in boxes, but not my manga, I probably have about 1,000 books. I really like books, if it isn't obvious.
2) The last book I bought: I've bought mostly manga recently, but I did buy 'Lord John Grey' by Diana Galbadon. It was wonderful, and if you like the Outlander series, you really should read it.
3) The last book I read: For probably the dozenth time, I'm reading the Outlander series by Diana Galbadon. Right now I'm on 'Dragonfly in Amber'.
4) Five books that mean a lot to me:
- The Eight by Katherine Neville - This book fascinates me, and I've read it over and over again. Two strong female leads following the pieces of a cursed chess set in two different eras, this book is a great read as well as appealing to my logical mind with talk of chess and math.
- The Outlander series by Diana Galbadon - A strong herione, lots of sexy scotsmen, time travel, romance, battles, it pushes most of my buttons.
- The Otherland series by Tad Williams - I love books about virtual reality, and this is so much more than that. A murder mystery, hidden identities, bizarre uses of new technology, all four of these books are long, but well worth the read.
- The Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling - I was introduced to these books by Stitcher2Ficcer, and they were pretty much my first introduction to yaoi in mainstream literature. Quick and easy to read, the characters are delightful and the story captivating. It's the only book series I've written fanfiction for.
- Jurassic Park - I loved this book from the minute I picked it up. It's even better than the movie, as it has so much more science in it, and explains a lot more than the movie does. And really, despite how awesome the dinosaurs looked in the movie, there is nothing quite as scary as the dinosaurs in my imagination. I spent *years* positive that there was going to be a raptor outside my room at night.

Jurassic Park - I've always loved dinosaurs, so this was a dream come true.
Titanic - What can I say, I'm a sap. The sheer pointless loss of human life here made me bawl through the entire movie.
Labyrinth - David Bowie in tight pants, muppets galore, and a lot of really great music. I still love to watch it.
The Princess Bride - Cary Elwes in all black. Pirates, deadly peril, true love, and incredibly sexy swordsmen. What's not to love?
Donnie Darko - This movie is so messed up, I don't know where to begin. But it's just twisted enough to really capture my imagination and make me start thinking about time travel and all that kind of stuff. I love it. Plus Frank freaks me out.

1) Total number of books owned: This is not an easy question to answer. I would say, counting everything I still have in boxes, but not my manga, I probably have about 1,000 books. I really like books, if it isn't obvious.
2) The last book I bought: I've bought mostly manga recently, but I did buy 'Lord John Grey' by Diana Galbadon. It was wonderful, and if you like the Outlander series, you really should read it.
3) The last book I read: For probably the dozenth time, I'm reading the Outlander series by Diana Galbadon. Right now I'm on 'Dragonfly in Amber'.
4) Five books that mean a lot to me:
- The Eight by Katherine Neville - This book fascinates me, and I've read it over and over again. Two strong female leads following the pieces of a cursed chess set in two different eras, this book is a great read as well as appealing to my logical mind with talk of chess and math.
- The Outlander series by Diana Galbadon - A strong herione, lots of sexy scotsmen, time travel, romance, battles, it pushes most of my buttons.
- The Otherland series by Tad Williams - I love books about virtual reality, and this is so much more than that. A murder mystery, hidden identities, bizarre uses of new technology, all four of these books are long, but well worth the read.
- The Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling - I was introduced to these books by Stitcher2Ficcer, and they were pretty much my first introduction to yaoi in mainstream literature. Quick and easy to read, the characters are delightful and the story captivating. It's the only book series I've written fanfiction for.
- Jurassic Park - I loved this book from the minute I picked it up. It's even better than the movie, as it has so much more science in it, and explains a lot more than the movie does. And really, despite how awesome the dinosaurs looked in the movie, there is nothing quite as scary as the dinosaurs in my imagination. I spent *years* positive that there was going to be a raptor outside my room at night.
