Summing up 2008

Dec 27, 2008 14:18

While waiting for the new year and the new beginning, remembering the ending year. I'm confident that the year comes when there will be something very special to sum up... Now wasn't the time.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Nothing spectacular. Baked scones, played Guitar Hero, made a usability research. That kind of things.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?.

More free weekends (will have), more interaction with friends (could have), and maybe a relationship (probably won’t have).

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Not a single one. After two years I can't remember if a certain event happened this or some other year :p And besides, there really weren't any special dates to remember.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008:
Let me see... Life is unfair. Well, knew that... People are stupid and narrow-minded. Knew that too… Life is too short. No news there... Well, just got reinforcement to things I already knew.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

Did you ever hear what I told you
Did you ever read what I wrote you
Did you ever listen to what we played
Did you ever let in what the world said
Did we get this far just to feel your hate
Did we play to become only pawns in the game
How blind can you be, don't you see
You chose the long road but we'll be waiting
Bye bye beautiful

and I'm tired of this dark place
where hope dies and hope fades
I'm gonna leave these shadows behind
head into the bright lights

new year, meme
