Easy Baboons
So, not much has been happening today. Went for a small adventure to Armadale to have a look at properties and such that we could move to when our lease runs out here...everything there is like way out of our price-range though, which kinda sucks...ut oh well, what can you do, eh?
Laneth and I went for another adventure the other day, and I ended up buying myself a book on mySQL, PHP and the Apache web server...it's something that I've been looking for for a long time. I've had all these ideas for websites and such that I would like to create, but I haven't had the ability to until now...so I've finally worked out how to turn my offline computer into a web-server (testing only on my machine) so that I can test my pages on my computer, configure mySQL to work (which provides the databases from which the site runs from) and set up PHP (which serves to be all the code to actually create the site in the first place).
So now I'm gonna be spending a bit of time at home brainstorming ideas for a site, and then learning all the stuff to actually get up and create the site. Damn, I'm so happy and excited about this. If I can manage to learn all the intricasies and such involved with PHP and mySQL, I'll have some more up-to-date skills with web-design, and I could get some work doing that for things like businesses and such. Damn that would be so awesome. I could actually have the skills to do something that I enjoy, and earn money from it. Damn that would be so damn good.
Damn...
On another note, Johno is coming down late tonight, which is gonna be awesome...I haven't seen him for such a long time, and it's rock to sit there and hang out with him again.
