1. There was much driving like a winged creature out of hell tonight, to make it down to House of Blues in time, tonight =)
2. There was an immediate drink acquisition and a hiking up of my skirt to be the "slut" that Amanda called me 0=) *I had texted her about my new skirt, saying it exposed my knees*
a. I'm starting to feel OLD at FBR/DD shows. This makes me glad that I'm cultivating
musical likes outside of these groups.
3. Flailing and singing at the top of my lungs commenced soon after. While TOMS are very comfortable shoes - not the world's greatest jumping shoes. But I jumped around and danced ALOT - it was awesome to let looooooooose. And, it's awesome to have friends that don't laugh at me tooo much when I do flail like this =) Also, I was surprised that I remembered as many words to TheCab and HeyMonday that I did.
a. HeyMonday is just good clean pop fun - so so pleased with how far they've come. And it's
been a long year for me with TheCab, but I think I'm almost back to a point where if
their music comes on the iPod, I'll leave it on. Or, start throwing it into playlists
again.
4. Quick stop by merch to acquire a new Cab t shirt - FINALLY something that doesn't make me think of a 15 year old scencester!! Upstairs to plan the rest of the evening, cool off and hack up a lung or two. (I'm really not sick! Just could breathe very well.)
5. VANILLA FROSTY!!! Which really just tasted more like vanilla ice cream - not as good as the chocolate - but I can't have that for another few weeks. Next year - someone hit me if I decide to give up chocolate AND peanut butter again. This is torture.
a. Hanging out with Amanda and Becca is fun. Becca may not know it yet, but I think I'm
adopting her, when I can't have my little sister around.
6. House cleaning tomorrow =) Yay weekend off from work.
