I'm getting pretty fed up with the way my body seems to hate me lately. Loads of my old aches and pains have returned with a vengeance, as I mentioned the other day - and a couple of new ones have popped up since then, too.
- Painful, weak-feeling wrist? Check.
- Really painful shoulder that developed into a trapped nerve a couple of times? Check.
- Sharp pain in the top of my foot that is probably my metatarsal acting up? Check.
- Knee feeling painful, weak, fuzzy, and like it wants to give way beneath me? Check.
- Pain in lower abdomen that has been ongoing on-and-off for about five years suddenly getting more frequent? Check. (This is what I saw the doctor about the other day. She didn't think it was anything to worry about, but I'm still waiting for my test results and I'm wondering if I should go in for some different tests she suggested.)
Also, this all seems to be happening on the left side of my body, for some strange reason.
I'm also a tad concerned about my weight. Now, I've always had a very low weight and a lot of people describe me as "skinny", but it's perfectly natural and my weight has always been healthy for my build and height. My usual weight hovers between 7.5 - 8 stone (approximately 105 - 112 pounds).
Lately, however, my weight seems to have dropped - slightly, mind you - to nearly 7 stone, or 98 pounds. I have no idea how this has happened. I know I have a shitty appetite at times, but a lot of the time I eat like a pig. Maybe I should go for a general check-up at the doctors, or something.
