Let it snow
Wow. Major snowfall going on here. It's pitch dark outside, but everything still looks oddly bright because of the snow.
I commented this morning about how I hadn't seen this much snow in a while, and, after hearing/reading the news, I'm not surprised - its apparently the heaviest in 18 years. But, in spite of that, it really has been a while since I've seen a substantial amount of snow.
There was something very calming about walking to and from work in the snow, though - well, if you ignore the part where snow started to blow in my eyes. Not fun, especially not when crossing a busy road. o_O Then there was the fact that I had to walk extremely slowly to avoid sliding all over the place. On my way home, I actually did manage to find myself sliding forward on one foot in a comical-looking manner.
I took some nice pictures of the snow in the evening, though, so I may upload those later.
However, a little while ago, some of the local kids took the weather as an excuse to act like dicks, not that that comes as any surprise to me. They started harassing some of the other, more well-behaved kids who were just trying to build snowmen. >_< Argh.
I think I fancy pasta for tea. Soft food will probably be less harsh on my tooth. I'm obviously not eating on that side of my mouth, but eating can make the pain flare up if I'm not careful.
