Dead Space completed (spoilers and ramblings)
I completed Dead Space today. :D Win. I've reloaded my cleared game, but I'm also going to start a new game on the next difficulty level, too.
I dread to think what the Impossible difficulty is like, gaaaah.
But, yeah, I had a feeling that Kendra was going to turn out to be an antagonist. I did kind of feel a little sorry for her when she got practically turned into paste by the Hive Mind, though - although that scene wasn't nearly as "OUCH" as Hammond's death scene.
And I didn't see that ending coming, either. Woah. Was that Nicole-Necromorph real, or simply another hallucination? I hope they are going to make a sequel - and I hope that Issac didn't actually die in the ending, either. He really grew on me as a character, which is odd, considering he's a silent protagonist and the game doesn't reveal a great deal about his personality (then again, I feel the same about Matthew Kane of Quake 4). And I felt so sorry for him in the final chapter of the game, and the ending... I love that you actually get to see his face in that scene. It made him a lot more... human, especially the level of pain you can see in his eyes. Poor guy.
I need to get the prequel on Blu-Ray at some point, now I've completed the game.
On a different note, someone at work today really pissed me off (oh, I wonder who that could be *eyeroll*), practically as soon as I walked through the door, but I'll go into that in a locked entry at some point.
Also, I've caught a cold. It's only a sore throat and a slight sniffle at the moment, but it hit me really suddenly last night. Blaaaah.
