Tooth: fixed.
I FINALLY GOT MY TOOTH FIXED. \o/ The dentist drilled away the horrible hurty rotten bits and gave me a filling. It was my second filling, but the first time I ever had an injection in the mouth. Now, most who know me know that I'm scared shitless of needles, but I eventually managed to calm myself down enough to have it done. As my tooth was so broken and worn away that you could actually see my gum though it (according to Euan; I was never brave enough to take a closer look at it in the mirror), it was for the best. o_O
But, yes, 'tis all done now. My gum is still a bit sore and my tooth is quite sensitive, but apparently that'll go away in a few days. I also have most of the feeling back in my mouth now, which is good.
It feels weird to actually have something there, though. My tooth broke off over a year ago, so I just got used to feeling barely anything there. I keep poking it with my tongue. XD
Yes, it was really bloody stupid of me to leave it that long. But it just didn't bother me at first and I didn't know I was going to get tooth decay, did I? That, and I just kept putting it off because I was afraid I'd been struck off the dentist's list, as the surgery hadn't contacted me in ages. But, yes, I freely admit that it was pretty dumb of me. *bitchslaps self*
However, according to the dentist, I have another cavity, in or around the same place as my previous filling. >_< I haven't noticed it myself, although my teeth have been feeling a bit more sensitive that usual around that area lately. It's only a small one, though, apparently, so I'm going back next month to have that one filled in.
*headdesk* It annoys me that, while I take care of my teeth, this still happens.
On a different note, last night me and Euan went out for my birthday meal. We went to a Chinese buffet restaurant. I have heard mixed opinions of the place, but I really enjoyed it. ^_^ T'was very tasty and filled me up for the whole evening.
Oh, and today, after my dentist appointment, me and Euan wandered around town for a couple of hours. We bought a few things, such as Resistance: Fall of Man for PS3. I got it for a mere £8.00, pre-owned. YES. I also got my gran's birthday present - I think she's turning 83 later this month.
Food soon, I think.
