My sis is now tattooed.
Because I didn't mention it earlier - my sister now has a tattoo. XD She's keeping it secret from our mum - who was going to pay for her to have one done, so that she wouldn't get it done cheaply, by her friend, who, while fully qualified, isn't a licenced tattooist yet.
However, on Friday, Alice just so happened to be at this particular friend's place, who gave her a tattoo - for free.
I have no idea when she plans to tell mother, but... um. XD
She showed me the tat when I was on my lunch break, and it doesn't look too bad. (It's a Hello Kitty tattoo, on her outer thigh, BTW.) It's just an outline at the moment, but she said she may get it coloured at a later date, possibly by a more professional tattooist. I have to admit, it would look a lot better with colour, in my opinion.
According to her, it hurt like hell, so, needless to say, she doesn't want one across the small of her back any more. *snickers*
It's funny, because I've been considering a tattoo for a while now, but my problem is working up the courage (not to mention the money) to go and have it done. I have a horribly low tolerance to pain, and I'm also worried about jerking away instinctively and having a stupid wonky line permanently etched into my skin. :\
