A few hours ago, me and Euan went into town to do a little bit of Christmas shopping. I bought some things for Euan, Jem, and my dad; Euan apparently bought all of my birthday and Christmas presents online this morning. XD We also bought ourselves a few new DVDs, as there was a "3 for £20" offer on in HMV. :P
We also popped into this new-ish milkshake place in town, Shakies. To play it safe, we both shared a Twix one. (I was hoping Euan would try the chilli one, but he didn't quite like the idea of chilli plus vanilla ice cream. XD)
Oh yeah, and I saw Euan playing the bit with the T-Rex on TR Anniversary. All I can say is "Congratulations, Crystal Dynamics, for completely killing the suspense!". *eyeroll* Call me picky, but I think having the big bastard unexpectedly looming around the corner is a lot more suspenseful than a cutscene showing loads of panicked raptors. And why did they turn the encounter into a generic boss fight? Come on, CD, you can do better than that - you made the last four Legacy of Kain games, for crying out loud.
No, I'm not just nitpicking for the hell of it - even if Core had been behind the remake, I'd still be a bit annoyed.
Hopefully they've treated the encounter with the Abomination a bit better? I suppose I'll have to wait and see.
Holy crap, it's my birthday next week. O_O It's kind of snuck up on me this year. XD
Oh, and I think that
this article shows yet another example of political correctness gone mad. Eeesh.
