Tomb Raider shizz, Ju-on/The Grudge shizz, Onimusha shizz, and crack
I have a sudden urge to play Tomb Raider: AoD again (shit, I haven't played that since 2004, or something). In fact, I have an urge to play all of the Core games through, back-to-back. Maybe then I'll convince myself to play (Un)Legend(ary) Legend and Anniversary, albiet grudgingly. But it's gotta be done some day. XD
I have heard a rumour that Megumi Okina will be in The Grudge 3. It's likely a load of bollocks, but, if that's true, I think it'll be a nice nod to the Japanese movies. After all, they did get the same actor (his name escapes me right now) who plays the old man playing "peekaboo" with Toshio in Ju-on: The Grudge to play pretty much the same role in The Grudge 2, so who knows?
Speaking of films, I now know that this is old news, but it has apparently been confirmed that Takeshi Kaneshiro will be portraying Samanosuke in the upcoming Onimusha movie. *does the happy fangirl dance* YESSS. It wouldn't have been right to have someone else portray him. Same with if they make an adaption of Oni 3 - Jacques would have to be played by Jean Reno. Of course, if they make a movie with Jubei in it, they will obviously have to find a pretty good replacement for the late Yusaku Matsuda.
I also have an urge to play Oni 2 again. Maybe I will. :P
Going back to Ju-on/The Grudge-related stuff... why the HELL have I had the urge to create a femmeslash community dedicated to the films?? Or, heck, maybe an all-pairing community, for that matter? WHY?? (Answer: Because I'm a strange, strange person, that's why.) That, and I'd probably be the only member.
