I see you hiding in that hill, young men!

Yesterday was great. Euan invited a few people over for his birthday - Kayleigh and JJ couldn't make it, but we did have Jem, Sheldon, Naomi (Sheldon's girlfriend who used to work at the supermarket with me) and Dan (Sheldon's flatmate) over for most of the day. We arsed about all day, watched Borat, and then later Shaun of the Dead after Sheldon, Nai and Dan went home. After Jem went home, Euan managed to complete Defiance. ^_^ It got me in the mood for making some more LoK icons - I just want to find a website with decent screenshots of cutscenes (maybe I'll buy a cheapass copy of the PC version and make my own - I've been planning to get the PC version anyway, if only to attempt to find any music files on there).

Today, Sheldon and Dan came over again, except I was in a bad mood so I probably ticked everyone else off.

I started messing around on some of my own Defiance save files, and, just for the hell of it, I used the wireframe cheat code in Vorador's Mansion. However, as I was doing so, I noticed something really fucking weird yet strangely cool in the garden area leading to Janos' crypt. As I was running up the pathway, I suddenly stopped and noted two distinct wireframe models. At first glance, I thought that they were statues, but then I realised that they certainly are not there in textureless mode, or regular mode. I then noticed something else: "Hey, that one kinda looks like Raziel!" (at first glance, I mistook the other one for Kain).

I entered the cheat code again to exit wireframe mode - as I'd expected, the models disappeared, so I was still kind of bugged by what I'd briefly seen. So, I went back into wireframe mode again, and sure enough, there the models were again. I noted that they were inside one of the walls, hence the reason that they can't be seen in the regular or textureless modes. I switched to first-person view, and there was no mistaking them now - one was a model of Raziel, the other of Vorador, and they were both standing side-by-side. It was pretty bizarre. I wonder if there are any other hidden wireframe models in-game? I guess I'll have to play through the whole game in wireframe mode (which will be really bloody difficult XD) just to see.

I'm quite surprised that I haven't seen any websites mentioning these hidden models - especially since the game has been out since 2003. I'll post photographs I took of the television as proof when I get the chance.

I also started my first save file on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time a little later, as Euan's been bugging me to play it for ages. ^_^

In other news, we now have the bookshelf at the house. My mother delivered it earlier. :)

That is all for now. Take care!
