this report:
British teenagers are among the worst behaved in Europe, a study by a leading centre-left think-tank said Thursday, exposing high levels of fighting, binge drinking, drug taking and under-age sex.
...I thought that this was common knowledge already. I feel ashamed of my country sometimes.
Those little kids in the neighbourhood are really getting on my last nerve now. They've taken to following me & Euan to our front door, attempting to climb on his motorcycle, and demanding money and/or chewing gum, whilst giggling like minature maniacs. Yeah, okay, some will probably say "Oh, they're just joking around, they're only children, leave them alone", but I won't be surprised if those kids grow up to be benefit-scrounging, jobless thugs.
I personally reckon that they've started to annoy us because Euan recently told them - politely - to stop kicking their football(s) against our windows.
EDIT: Bit of a misunderstanding on my behalf (regarding the previous paragraph). Apparently it was some older kids with a football, and they weren't deliberately kicking the ball against the window. But I wouldn't be surprised if the younger kids are in league with the older kids in some way.
