I still can't contact Jodie at all. Since we need to book everything as soon as possible, it really doesn't look as though she's going to be able to come, which sucks. It's not really my fault that I don't even know if the mobile phone number I have listed under her name is still being used by her or not (yes, I have tried calling, several times, but to no avail), and that I don't know if she still lives in Dorset or not, but I still feel kind of guilty. We need to get together again sometime, I've missed her.
On the subject of the wedding, Sharon (one of my team leaders) has given me some advice regarding makeup. Thing is, I don't know if I should be taking makeup advice from someone who wears so much foundation that it makes her look a bit like a cross between Adam MacIntyre from Dead Rising and a Barbie doll. Okay, that was a bit of a mean exaggeration.
On the other hand, she is the one to ask for beauty advice in the store, so, in all fairness, she does know what she's talking about.
I'm probably going to get my sister to do my makeup - she does beauty courses at college and she's pretty good at it, so I'd say it's a safe bet to let her handle it. I also want her to pluck/wax my eyebrows, because they look like I nicked them off of Liam Gallagher and I've been meaning to get them tidied up for a few years now.
