Ugggggh, I hate working Saturdays.
It was so bloody hectic at work yesterday. Sharon made me work my ass off - she claimed that I had no excuse to not have all of the health & beauty cages worked by the end of my shift. Um, excuse me, what the fuck?! Even with four people working on the department, there was no way in hell that we could get all that shit worked. I'd like to see her try it sometime. >_< Dumb woman.
Not only that, but she told me to product group all the health & beauty stock in the warehouse, which happens to be grossly overstocked at the moment because we just keep getting too much stuff that we don't need delivered almost every evening. That, and it looks as though a herd of wildebeest has just stormed right through it.
I eventually got all the product grouping done, but it was a fecking nightmare, let me tell you. It took me & Zoe about an hour & a half to get it all done. It probably wouldn't have taken that long, had the warehouse not been filled to the brim with too much stock and badly-stacked cages - one cage in particular looked as though a drunken monkey with its arms tied behind its back could have done a better job. Well, nearly.
But that's not all. When we were almost finished, a rather frantic Jean came up to us, and insisted that we had to help Amy .C. with the Christmas gift sections - when I told her that Sharon had basically ordered me to do all the product grouping, she responded with a disdainful "What Sharon wants may not be what the rest of us want". Heh. Methinks that Jean is a tad annoyed with Sharon. I understand perfectly. Sharon's really been getting on my nerves recently, what with her patronising attitude, her habit of ordering you to carry out one task or two & then completely changing her mind, and the fact that she manages to condradict almost every sentence that comes out of her mouth with regards to work.
Anyway, enough work ramblings for now.
I'm still having trouble deciding what to buy people for Christmas. The fact that I want to buy several things for myself isn't helping, but I'm trying not to do that very often due to the fact that I seriously need to save my money right now. I really want to buy Reincarnation on DVD (mainly for the fact that it has
Takako Fuji in it, because I'm really starting to luff her), but it's pretty expensive, as are most Asian films released in the UK. It's even expensive on Play & Amazon, and I can't find a sealed Region 2 copy for a decent price on eBay, so I suppose I'll just have to wait for a little while.
