LoK: SR 2 stuffs

Okay, so maybe I'll update about London when I next get the chance. At least I don't feel as moody as I did earlier. :)

I've started a new game on Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2. I have a burning desire to play the entire series though again (and to play Blood Omen for the first time..... XD). I can't quite remember how to get through the Light Forge, though. XD Then again, it is getting late, and I couldn't be bothered to try and navigate my way through that area, so I'll attempt it some other time.

It's just going to be a total bitch to try and navigate through Janos' mountain retreat without the aid of a walkthough guide. Heck, it's annoying enough with a walkthrough. Visually, the area is gorgeous. I also adore the music that plays throughout the area. But that doesn't change the fact that it is quite possibly one of the most tedious areas in the entire game: "Imbue the Reaver with Light! Shoot those crystals! Now go and imbue the Reaver with Air! Activate the plinth! Now go back and imbue it with Light again! Air! Light! Air! Light! Air! And for a little bit of variety, imbue it with Darkness! Oops, fell off a ledge, time to climb all the way back up again!" o_O

....Yeah. That area has been known to frustrate me somewhat. XD

I decided to read though certain sections of the Dark Chronicle (the script for the game's most important cutscenes), too - in particular, the last couple of scenes. *Shivers* I swear, watching/reading the ending for that game gives me the chills practically every time. (Although the first time I completed the game, I was more shocked/annoyed at the fact that the game ended on such a huge twist and massive cliffhanger. Just..... dude.) I know, the issue is pretty much resolved in LoK: Defiance, but still. It is a damn good plot twist, one that I certainly didn't see coming at the time.

Anyway, enough of my rambling for now. *Goes to get ready for bed*
