So, the interview....
So, I think yesterday's job interview went alright. I've actually changed my mind about it, in a way - it doesn't seem nearly as bad as I first thought. If I get the job, I'd still have to answer phones (something I hate the idea of), but the hours aren't too bad, the salary is decent enough (it makes the salary from my hotel work look like a joke), and it seems like it might be a reasonably quiet job. So, fingers crossed, I suppose.
I also went into Argos, to collect my (supposedly) last pay packet from my former boss. I kind of wish I was still working there - even if I would still be working with that Tom wanker who kept trying to make me look bad. They actually kept him on as an employee instead of ditching him on Christmas Eve! That arrogant fucker! >< It's probably because of the fact that he kept stealing my work from me and making me look lazy. *Clenches fists* (I really despise him, can't you tell? =b) The competition between us was rather fun, at times, but, most of the time, I found his behaviour to be trivial and aggravating. ><
Sometime soon, I'd like to make some icons featuring mini-movies. At the moment, I'd like to try some for Ring (and for the US remake, too) - I was flipping through the DVDs yesterday, and I am now certain on what scenes I'd like to use. Namely the classic "emergence" scene from the end of the first film, the "haunted interview tape" part from Ring 2, the "crawling up the side of the well" part from the same film, and the "reaching for the doorknob" scene from the beginning of the remake.
.....now all I need is access to Euan's PowerDVD feature, and I'll be all set to go. =b
