Euan and I spent a loooooong day in town. I thought I wasn't going to be there for a huge amount of time. As it transpired, I thought wrong. Yep, I certainly picked a bad day to wear my platform boots. As sexy as they are, walking around in them for hours on end is not recommended.
Anyway, I had my Jobseeker's Allowance signing by a really quite snobby woman. Bleh, her problem, not mine. Then, Euan and I proceeded to wander around for hours. During this time:
- We had a lovely meal at the Gorge Cafe. Mmmmmmmm, hash browns.
- Euan had a job interview at Tesco.
- Euan purchased a brand-spanking-new mobile phone.
- I bought some makeup that had been reduced in price. Yay for dark blue eyeshadow. =b
Also, I bumped into someone I used to go to school with. He was a close friend of Kym (my ex-friend), and, up until today, I had no idea that he knows Euan, too. O_o Small world, small world. But, yes, the guy (Gareth, I think his name is) looks really different now. He's taller (which isn't too surprising), he's gained a lot of weight, and his hair is drastically different - again, not hugely surprising, considering I haven't seen him for years and people are bound to change during such a timespan, but it did take me quite a while to recognise him.
On a different note, I just found
this amusing picture gallery of genuine food labels from around the world. X-D Check it out, it's good for a laugh.
