Yesterday, I was sleeping over Euan's, so I caught the bus into town (carrying all my bags), met up with him, and proceeded to do what I mainly came to do: go to the Job Centre to make a claim for Jobseeker's Allowance (I have an interview regarding it in a fortnight), and go to Connexions to inquire about available jobs and such. Because of this, I now have a Career Advice interview on Friday. What fun.
After this was all done with, we caught a bus back to Euan's, had a bit of a rest, before going to the cinema and watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Great film, but since when did Draco become such a wimp? Eesh. And, yes, I can't be arsed to say anything more about it than that, because: a) I'm lazy and b) I don't wish to inflict my reviewing skills (or lack thereof) on anyone reading this.
After this, of course, we went back to Euan's again, and we finally finished watching Martian Successor Nadesico - now we just have the movie to watch, as soon as one of us manages to get our mits on it.
This morning, some time after midnight, I failed to heed one of my own personal warnings: Never watch gory, scary or unnerving films, either in their entirety or partially, right before you go to bed. That said, I now want to watch Thirteen Ghosts all the way through when I get the chance. Just not before bed. Because, although I have very little problems with watching gory movies during the day, I get severely jumpy if I watch anything of that nature at night. Because I'm strange like that.
Today, we didn't really do a lot, except lounge around in bed longer than we usually do, watch the Farscape episode Out Of Their Minds, and generally mess around. I had to go home earlier than I wanted to, which was unfortunate, but hopefully I'll be able to sleep over there again this week.
Once I arrived back home, I noticed that I had a ridiculous amount of forms to fill out, sent by the folk at the Job Centre.
I hate filling out forms. But it has to be done.
Oh, and the swelling in my neck is still there. It seems to be getting smaller, and it rarely hurts except for when I poke it, but it's still there. I've changed my mind; if it hasn't improved considerably by either tomorrow or Friday, then the doctor is most likely going to be getting a phone call. From me, naturally.
On a positive note, I saw two adult hedgehogs and four baby ones in my garden today. Hedgehogs are spiffy, indeed they are. Even if they do smell awful. =b
