Things that happened during the time I was without a computer:
Monday: Euan started his new job at Screwfix. It's currently a temporary job, but, if they like his work there, then it will become permanent.
He visited me during his lunch break, and also after he finished work for the day. =D It is fortunate that Screwfix isn't too far away from my place.
I also learned, once and for all, that Robert is an asshole. He dumped mother, after a mere two weeks, because he felt that they had "nothing in common". >< Fucking bastard. You had only been seeing her for two weeks, you odious prick. You both needed to get to know each other a bit more, and you threw it away. Now she's unhappy. Again. Guess whose fault that is? Oh yes, Robert, it is yours. And, yes, I know that you're highly unlikely to read this, but I cannot believe that I thought you were a decent person. I shouldn't have ignored my initial doubts, after all.
Why do I always make that mistake? I meet someone, I get bad "vibes", throw them aside some time later, and then I end up discovering that my first impressions were correct.
On a different note: Later on at night, I was quite happily munching away on a crumpet, getting ready to play on Legacy of Kain: Defiance for a short while before I went to bed. Guess what happened? Yep, I bit my tongue. Hard. So hard, in fact, it began bleeding like nobody's business, and a lump the size of a fully inflated beachball quickly rose. I'm surprised that my shriek of pain wasn't heard for miles around. >< I was reduced to talking like I had a speech impediment for hours. In other words, ah wa' talkin' 'ike 'his.
Tuesday: I went to town for a brief while, and purchased Dido's Don't Leave Home single for a mere 49p.
Euan came to visit again, both during his lunchbreak and after work had finished again.
Wednesday: Euan paid me a couple of visits, as usual. I managed to complete Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (again), whoot. We then began a game on the first Tomb Raider, just because we feel like playing it through together.
Oh, and the computer returned. As you can obviously see from yesterday's rushed update.
Today (so far:) Bought two (second-hand and very cheap) CDs in town: The Score by the Fugees, and the compilation Now 35.
I am now currently lazing around, waiting for Euan to turn up again. =)
Two different icons now: one of Lil' Kim, one of Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls.
