Why didn't I watch this earlier!?
So, recently I started watching the Korean drama You're beautiful. Well actually not recently, it's more like a month ago. And I've watched up to episode 9. I probably would have finished it by now but I get bored of dramas extremely easily. No matter how exciting they are. It mostly steams from the fact that I hate watching TV shows, movies, etc on my computer. I pretty much refuse to watch American shows online, even if I missed an episode of a TV show I watch. XD I only watch what I have to on the computer, ie foreign shows. But even then I get annoyed by it pretty easily. But this is getting way off subject!
You're Beautiful is one of those dramas I've always meant to watch. It's been on my "to watch list" for over a year now. But I never watched it because I wasn't really into Korean stuff that much, and I had never watched a Korean drama before. So, I wasn't sure if I'd even like them. But then Ikemen desu Ne was announced, and of course I wanted to watch it because Hikaru was in it. And since I wanted to watch Ikeme desu Ne, it only made sense to watch You're Beautiful first. Since the originals are always better, and I wanted to see it anyway. I mean, Hongki and Yong Hwa in the same drama, that's too good to pass up. So, Ikemen desu ne finally gave me the final push I needed.
And I am completely happy that I finally watched it! The drama is way more awesome than I was expecting it to be. I was pretty much sold on the drama after episode 2. You're Beautiful is probably one of the best dramas I've ever watched. But that's probably because the 3 leads are gorgeous. I don't think I'd like the drama half as much if the main characters were ugly. Yes, I'm shallow. Whatever. I don't think Ikemen desu ne can live up to You're Beautiful. Mostly because besides Hikaru, everyone else is hideous. That and the fact that there's so far not really any faults with it. The only fault I really have is obviously Go Mi Nam is going to end up with Tae Kyung, and I actually don't want that to happen. I'd actually prefer her to end up with Shin Woo. I feel so bad for him. He's so in love with her, and she won't even give him a change. Nun or not, anyone can tell how he feels about her. But that's probably an unpopular opinion.
You know, this drama is so good I acually don't want to finish it because I'm going to be sad when it ends. And also because I'm most likely not going to like the ending. Oh, and can I just say that Hongki with blonde hair is the best he's ever looked. When I saw promo pics of him with blonde hair I thought he looked terrible. But after seeing how it's styled in the drama he looks incredible. And ironically, I felt the same way about Hikaru and his blonde hair. XD
