Oh yeah, I'm back! *blasts T.I.'s I'm back* I was on hiatus on LJ for wayyy longer than I wanted to be. Mostly because lately I've been catching up with and posting on my blogger idol blog. I know, I fail. I'm a horrible LJer. I'm pretty bad on LJ anyway. I have yet to venture out and make more friends on here. Mostly because I'm not sure the best way to go about it. What? I just like randomly add people I see? XD
I also hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! I know I did. :3
Andsince I'm back of course I have to catch up on my 30 day meme.
Day 7: A j-pop song that makes you cry:
Wow this is gonna be slightly embarassing, huh? Let me just point out that I am a cryer. I cry about a lot because I am super sensitive. If someone insults me I'll cry about it. I even cry about fandom stuff. Here's what I've cried about fandom related: Kusumi Koharu graduates from Momusu, Arihara Kanna leaves H!P, Kago Ai comes back into the entertainment world (tears of joy), and Miyavi got married. (Tears of anger, sadness, and feelings of he should have totally ended up with me. I think there's something wrong with me. I mean I literally said, "If I knew he would end up getting married I would have never listened to him in the first place. Years of wasted fangirling." O_O)
So, it's pretty obvious I cry over songs. Here are just the songs I can think of on the top of my head.
1. Buono - Last Forever

This song always makes me cry because it's about graduating and moving forward with your life. And basically leaving everyone and everything behind. And only holding onto memories. And wanting to stay trapped in that moment. It hits home for me, and I can't imagaine anything more heartbreaking. But the song is so upbeat, what's wrong with me? XD
2. NEWS - Futari/130000000 no Kiseki

This song chokes me up because it's half of it is so beautiful and the other half is so sad. It's so sad because it's about wanting someone you can't have. I don't even really know why this makes me cry. But the first time I heard it I started to tear up.
3. Ayumi Hamasaki - Memorial Address

This is probably the most obviously sad song on my list. It's about someone dying and being sad about it but trying to move on. And wishing you could have known what you meant to that person. This song is completely sad and touching. Ayumi even sounds sad singing it.
4. Miyavi - Kimi Ni Negai Wo

What's that? Miyavi's Jrock and not Jpop. Eh, it doesn't really matter. This song is mad popish anyway. Yet another song about death. Even though his song is more about keeping their memory alive and living for them. I can't help but feel so sad when listening to it. Especially the. "There's no god, but I don't need a god as long as you could be here instead." That is just so powerful. But it's no surprise Miyavi writes some of the best lyrics out there.
5. KAT-TUN - Faraway

This so completely makes me cry! It's all about realizing too late you love someone, but it's too late to be with them. It's long the ultimate longing song that tears at your heart strings. Left only with memories it so heartbreaking! And yet the song is sung in such a way you'd never know by listening to it just how sad it really is.
