It wasn't fair. How could it be fair? She didn't even do anything wrong. He was always the one doing things she told him not to do. He should've just listened to her. It wasn't a difficult task to do, but he always seemed to have so much trouble with it.
And now he was hiding, like some scared mouse: weak and always scared. So Suki waited for him. Waiting for him to finally come out of his hiding place so she could finally give him a piece of her mind. Actually, he deserved a lot more than that. Suki was ready to hurt him like he hurt her.]

[Slinking up the stairs, he winces with every squeak of the floorboards. He's not as alert as he should be, but he's not expecting to see anyone, either. Eyes adjusting to the dark too slowly, he finds himself too late to avoid an out-of-chair, forced to bite back a yelp as he stubs his toe, sending the chair scraping across the floor a few inches.]
[He takes a long pause and hearing nothing, lets out his breath and continues moving toward his bedroom.]
