Who are you? I've never seen anything like you before! You aren't a pony are you? You can't be a pony, because ponies have hoofs. You have a mane though. Where's your cutie mark?

WAIT! This means I don't know you, and I know EVERYPONY! This means I hafta throw you a party! The bestest new friend party EVER!

[Sokka has no idea what this is about, but there sure is a talking horse in front of him. He tries to say some things.]

WAIT! [He stole this from you, pony!] Sloooooow dooooooown. And please tell me I am not imagining a pink talking pony. You're real right? Not some odd hallucination brought on by my inability to cope with my own insecurities or something like that?

Huh? Of course I'm a pony, you silly-billy looking thing. What else would I be? See! I have a mane and a tail and a cutie mark too! But I don't see your tail or your cutie mark. You're not like any pony I've ever seen! But that's a good thing. I love meeting new ponies and making new friends! And we can be the super-de-duperest friends in all of Ponyville!

[OMFG! WAIT! She's looking around now.]

Wait... this isn't Ponyville. Do you know where we are... OHMIGOODNESS! I never asked your name! What kinda pony am I? Talk about awful. Well, my newestest of new friends! What's your name? You can call me Pinkie Pie!

[Pinkie Pie? Sokka mouths it to himself, thinking perhaps he'd taken some kind of blow to the head. Rubbing his noggin, he laughs a little awkwardly and forces himself to respond.] I'm Sokka. And I'm not a... pony. I'm a man. Who doesn't live in Ponyville and has never even heard of it.

But... it's nice to meet you? Pinkie Pie? [This last bit's so uncertain, it comes out as questions!]

OH! Aman? What's an aman? I've never heard of aman before. Is that why you only walk on two of your legs and have no hooves? [As she speaks, she skips around him, examining him.] And no tail! Amans are deluxe-o interesting... [Not a pony...]] things!

Well! It's wonderfulrific to meet you Sokka! And now that we're friends, I;m going to throw you the best party ever! Just you wait and see. I throw the best parties! I hope you like bobbing for apples and pin the tail on the pony! This is going to be the best--- wait. If I'm not at home, who am I gonna invite...

[And suddenly her hair deflates.] Am... am I all alone?

N-no, a man, a--

[Gosh, keeping up with Pinkie Pie is like trying to race an eelhound! Sokka runs a hand down his face and tells himself she'll- he'll, uh, she'll calm down any minute.]

I'm here, so you're not really alone. We could, uh, still throw a party if you want.

[AND her hair is all full of volume again]

REALLY!?! We can have a party with two people! We'll make it the best party ever! It'll be the funest party in the history of... wherever we are! HEY! Sokka! Do you happen to know where we are?

It's called the Earth Kingdom, and I'm sure we don't need more people than two. I mean, it's all about having fu-- fuuuuuwhatisthat?! [And he's pointing behind you, Pinkie Pie, because there is something coming and it's surrounded by (how apt) a giant dust cloud!]

You got a silly face going on there! I can make silly faces--- [She turned around to see what he was looking at and screamed.] What is THAT?!?!

SOKKA! SOKKA! We gotta get out of here! It's isn't safe! [Freaking out time? YES!]

You don't have to tell me twice! [Sokka started running, waving Pinkie Pie along with him as he tried to vacate the area and seek out shelter. There's nothing immediately in sight that Sokka would be able to reach before being overtaken by the cloud, though.] We need to get inside something -- a house or a cave or something!

[OH! She is following alright, and running right along side of him.]

IT'S. SO. HARD. TO. THINK. OF. A. SONG. WHEN. YOU'RE. RUNNING!

WHY ARE YOU THINKING OF A SONG?! JUST RUN! [Although, were he more meta, he might have suggested "Riders on the Storm...]

There's always time for a SONG!! LOOK LOOK! A CAVE! A CAVE!!

Oh, thank the spirits! Let's get inside, quick! [And he doesn't even bother looking back to see how quickly the storm is approaching because honestly, he doesn't want to know!]

[You don't need to tell her twice. Pinkie Pie is all up IN that cave like no one's business. But now she's all breathing heavily.]

What is going on?

I don't-- [Sokka peers into the approaching dust, and while nothing's immediate apparent, there's a rumbling that's beginning under foot. He looks at the little rocks on the cave floor shimmying and then turns his attention back to Pinkie Pie.]

I think there's something in there. Maybe lots of somethings!
