Half Moon Investigations - Made a comm!
So in the past eight weeks or so I've kind of fallen in love all over again, since I accidentally discovered that the BBC was making a television series of Eoin Colfer's fabulous and amazing Half moon Investigations. I sort of love that book and that show to pieces.
So I went looking for the fandom, which you'd think would have some sort of hold seeing as how big Eoin Colfer is.
Nothing. Zilch. Man, was I dissapointed. I began to wonder if I was the only one...
And so tonight I made: halfmoondetects . It's the first community I have ever made. I'm kind of nervous that nothing will happen, or that something will happen, or that I will get laughed at... Basically, I'm pretty excited and pretty scared and pretty sure nothing's going to happen all at the same time. No fandom probably = no demand for fandom :(
Although... Maybe someone else out there watched the latest episode and really wants to make icons of Red helping Fletcher after he breaks his ankle. Or wanted somewhere to post that cool picture of the Sharkeys that they drew. Or maybe someone will be just idly looking for the fanbase and stumble across the only regularly maintained comm for HMI.
I really want to make those icons, actually...
