(no subject)
its been a very long time since i've been this bored.
i am currently the receptionist for Morrison homes company, all the way out in Narcoosee...wow...there is absolutely nothing to do, when i was told i'd be picking up the phones, i guess i just assumed that there would be people actually calling...but nooooo....
ive been here since 10, and will behere until 6. yep yep yep. and yet there is no one here to talk to because everyone is out on a job. there have been 2 customers, to whom i have directed around a single house, but thats about it...8hours....holy crap it better be worth it...tomorrow i do the same thing.
this kind of temp work motivates me to be so much better in my life. whether it be law, psychology, or even neurology, i at least would have something to stimulate my mind instead of secretary crap.
no one has really talked to me all day..there were two jack asses in here a few hours ago, and they were less then nice to me...but oh well.
last week was my week in Canaan. it was amazingly fun. and we really didnt do anything. my cousin kelly won this contest he had entereed to play guitar, and the prize was 500 dollars. most nights were awesome because we basically all got hammered then went to the Purple Fiddle, which is the equivalent to the hick bar in Dukes of Hazard except there is live music. everybody kinda stinks, so when me and my cousins walk in we are all marveled at....oh the joy of shampoo and soap!
i got really close to my younger cousin Pat, he is by far one of the funniest kids i have ever met..but most of all, he is just a really nice kid, and i can talk openly with him...which is very rare on that side of the family.
i leave for college in two weeks, yeah...two weeks...isnt that wierd? i'm finally growing up and moving on with mylife.
im going to miss my friends, and i pray that we will not lose touch. i'm happy with myself...and being single isnt that bad. i kissed a few boys..which really was amusingafterwords..ohhh the drunkenness that makes me "kathleen"...
apparently my drunken alter ego is named Kathleen...and i found that highly amusing...
