First T shot
Today I got my first T shot. Also, even though I thought all my stitches had disappeared, I apparently still have some internal stitches that are supposed to dissolve. I asked my local doctor about them today, since some of those stitches were poking out of my body. I ended up pulling one of them out and then trimming down the other two. I am not worried about them, but some of them are keeping some holes open in my skin and the doc said to make sure I clean them w/ alcohol swabs & make sure nothing gets infected.
As for the shot, it didn't hurt as much as I expected. I think the nurse jabbed me too high, as it is more in my back than in my butt. She wanted me to come back to the office for my 2nd jab, but I think I might let Cindy do it or have her guide me while I do it myself b/c I don't feel like spending the $ on another appt. I have to see the dr. again in a few months for a routine check-up. Then a few months after that, he wants me to schedule another round of blood tests to make sure everything's staying the same. Money, money, money (oh, and parents still don't know)...
