It's been awhile...almost 1 year T anniversary
I haven't posted in awhile. Right now, I feel like venting about stupid Republicanism and all the bullshit it brings into my life. I just got off the phone with my brother, who was stuck ranting about politics. For some reason, this seems to be a popular tendency of my mom, brother, and brother-in-law (the latter is so ignorant, he worships Rush). I've noticed that Republicans love to use key phrases when discussing their ideology. They say things like, "That's why I switched parties--I got smarter!" and "If you pay attention to what's going on around you, you'll start putting the pieces together and become a Republican, too." Is that a fact, you ridiculous boy? Do you really think Republicans have all the answers and that all Democrats are sneaky bastards? I assure you, I know Republicans who are dishonest, sneaky, closed-minded, oppressive of others, etc. I'm so sick of having to defend liberty every time I talk to family members and find it ironic that Republicans claim to be the biggest proponents of personal freedom when they advocate restricting everyone else's rights if they arbitrarily disobey the Christian faith! Arggghhh!!!! For the record, the conversation w/ my brother didn't have anything to do with the gay-Christian debate, but I brought it up because it is popular in Republican doctrine. I swear, they must make all party members memorize that shit.
