ohhhhh I do love this. I love how... common place it was and how you managed to fit into it all of the little random details about the characters that make them whole and complete. Like Phillipa being lactose intolerant. I can definitely see both Mal and her sharing that trait! When I read the first few lines, I thought you were setting me up for an angst fic and then.. ohhhh so sweet and delicious.
ALTHOUGH, I do have one problem.... IKEA? Really? I guess I can see Arthur being dragged along by Eames to IKEA because if they are going to share a house, I think Eames would get bored of the traditional, elegant style that I imagine Arthur to go for. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against IKEA (in fact, I bought a bookcase from it last week) but it's more of a first-home-buyer sort of store and Arthur seems like he'd be above all of that sort of hype. I can see him trolling the antiques stores, trying to find that perfect mirror or stand.

Yeah...about that. I personally have never been to IKEA; I've just heard it was Heaven for young homebuyers. *shrug* I do think Arthur would be more of the antique store type of shopper. We'll just go along with your reason, that Eames somehow bullied or cajoled Arthur into shopping at the delightfully commonplace IKEA store. :)
