Why yesterday was awesome: Planned two trips with my class (it'll probably end up being just myself & the girls), Hillary fucking won Ohio/Texas/Rhode Island and I finally watched Damages ("Tastes Like a Ho Ho"), 30 Rock (one of Edie's episodes) and Boston Legal ("Glow in the Dark"). Don't feel like writing about RL right now so I give you:
Random thoughts on BL...
01. Candice Bergen looks classy eating a burger and speaking with her mouth full. Amazing!
02. Shirley/Jack Ross Candice/Scott Bakula OTP4ever, omg (I just watched "The Thrill of the Chase" on YouTube - hot).
03. The first two times Carl implied that Shirl was a slut: funny (Shirl goes through men like tictacs! Ha ha).
04. The last time: it's a big world, but Shirl's had sex with every men in it (in her words: "that isn't nice").
05. BUT you just know that she keeps score and deep down she thought that was a little funny.
06. That's why she was upset when Carl said he wanted out (damn, he's insecure!). So she fired him? Wha?
07. I thought that was kind of schizo at first, but then it hit me, she probably has never been rejected before...
08. Remember, she's "phenomenal" in bed, she's impossible to get over and she loves to brag about herself.
09. Alan won major points by not taking advantage of her, but I hope he doesn't regret that in the future cause when she said "Goodbye Alan"? I thought that was an opening! I don't know... the way Candice said that line, I think she would have given him a chance. SIGH.
10. OK, am I implying that she is a slut? I don't know and I don't want to get into specifics on why Shirl/Alan would work for me (and for them, but maybe not for the stupid audience), but I just want to say that after years of shipping Abbey/Josh, Abbey/Sam, Abbey/Toby, Abbey/Leo, Kerry/Carter, Kerry/Romano, Kerry/Kovac, Scully/Mulder, Scully/Skinner, Scully/Doggett, Scully/Krycek, Roslin/Lee, Roslin/Baltar, Roslin/Adama, Roslin/Zarek -- I think I deserve some happiness. So thanks DEK. And your Mrs. Robinson obsession.
