And will we ever end up together? Oh, I think not

I love how Dumbledore being gay has gained so much more controversy than the fact that she basically outed Aberforth Dumbledore as a goat-fucker.

" In the Goblet of Fire Dumbledore said his brother was prosecuted for practicing inappropriate charms [JKR buries her head, to laughter] on a goat; what were the inappropriate charms he was practicing on that goat?

JKR: How old are you?

Eight.

JKR: I think that he was trying to make a goat that was easy to keep clean [laughter], curly horns. That's a joke that works on a couple of levels. I really like Aberforth and his goats. But you know Aberforth having this strange fondness for goats if you've read book seven, came in really useful to Harry, later on, because a goat, a stag, you know. If you're a stupid Death Eater, what's the difference. So, that is my answer to YOU. "

Um. So the gay is disgusting/controversial/disappointing to some factions on the fandom, but we'll skate right over the implied beastiality?

In other news, work is lame (remind me never to volunteer for a 20% off day again, so tiring), study is lamer (I just don't like the Argonautika and the Aeneid, which is actually a bit of a problem) and I am off to watch Plight of the Conchords (yay!).
Also, my neck, by my ear, really hurts. I thought it was my gland but it must not be. Anyway, ouch.
Also also, I went to the Improv Idle finals last night, which was pretty rad. Highlight had to be the great Shakespearean love story of John and Meg, this old Scottish couple in the audience. Richard Falkner won, I liked his beard.

fandom, theatre: the improvisors, work, harry potter
