[ It takes a minute for Reid to gather his energy. It wasn't something he wanted anyone else to know, really. He wasn't even planning on telling his own team what happened. But the weight of the experience and the pain wracking his whole body seemed to block out those thoughts. ]

We...were working on a case. Two killers working together..murdering people they perceived as sinners and calling the police to report it. There was a -- a witness. Called in at one of the murders.
