Okay, this entry is pretty much based on reading different blogs/groups. I am completely sick of reading comments that insinuate that people who have sex before they are married somehow do not have good morals or respect for themselves. Umm what? Last I checked, it was a perfectly normal lifestyle choice that people can make for themselves.
If you want to wait until you are married, than that is your own perogative, and good for you. In all seriousness, that is a respectable choice.
If you decide that abstinence is not for you, than go ahead and be safe about it.
Sexual relationships are only the business of the parties involved. If we were not supposed to have sex before marriage, we would not have easy access to contraceptives like the pill, condoms, things like mirena, etc. Finding out whether you are sexually compatible is also important to the future of a relationship. Relationships can even be strengthened once you discover your level of comfort in intimacy with your significant other.
While we're on the subject, I will say I'm big on monogamy. No disrespect to polygamists out there, but I am more comfortable knowing that the one person I'm with is only with me =)
the end!
