Yeah...how sad that I was one of those people that thought this would never happen and it was an overreaction. But those images of the BMA building...
I love the story that has emerged in the midst of it. The bus explosion that happened outside the BMA Building interrupted a meeting of doctors. The doctors all jumped up at the noise, ran to find out what it was, then proceeded to treat those who had been hurt in the BMA meeting again. I thought in all the newsreels, it was brilliant how people were, in all actuality, so calm. There wasn't screaming and panic, but people helping each other.
So unbelievable. I am so sorry to those who were there. You shouldn't have been. Nothing like this should happen. But, for what it's worth, I thought that you were all incredibly brave.
