Thursday morning
And I have stuff to do. I accomplished a fair amount last night - rearranging Adam's & my closet, David's & my closet, and the linen closet, putting away the fleishig dishes, gathering up all the dirty and probably dirty laundry, and putting a load in the washing machine on a four-hour lag, and this morning so far I have gotten myself & David dressed, fed, and ready, fed & watered the chickens, gathered three large loads of firewood (one of logs, one of chunks, and one of kindling), gathered up the papers and thing I want to sort today into one place, and got the coffee table cleared off and ready to haul upstairs. So now I need to finish putting away the linens (still haven't really reworked my downstairs linen storage), wash the dishes, wipe off the counters and stove top, mop the living room floor, shlep the coffee table, do a bit (or maybe more than a bit) of tidying upstairs, and start dealing with the huge pile of books and papers.

Ok, so first I want to start a fire and maybe haul in a bit more firewood since it's supposed to be rainy for the foreseeable future (it's not November yet, cut that out!), but then I need to get on with those linens & such. I think fire, move coffee table, then put away linens. Yeah, I know, fascinating, but I like to figure out the most logical order of operations.
With everything else I want to do today, though, I should probably put off remaking the bed until tomorrow. But anyway, time to get at it. Maybe if I get everything done before David gets home, I can take some time this evening to write that profound post I have bubbling in the back of my brain.
Aaand checking the weather report, it can't seem to make up its mind whether we're expecting rain this afternoon or not, so I'm hanging that laundry I started last night before I start the fire. Later all!
