So, that's it
I've finished my 5th year of high school. O.K., so I still have my exams to do, and then in June we start the new timetable, and it's not really 6th year until after the summer holidays, but I've had my last classes for 5th year.
There was a while during this past year when I seriously considered leaving school at this point. Once you've finished 4th year, if you've turned 16, you can leave any time you want. Now, I'm really glad I'm not going out into the big wide world just yet. It's quite a scary thought. One more year, then that will be me getting everyone to sign my T-shirt, and saying goodbye to the nice teachers, and covering the depute-head-teacher's car with post-it notes (which was one of the 6th year jokes yesterday).
All this does mean that I think it's time to start planning seriously for my gap year. But I'll post more about that later.
